The long-awaited (for those who follow aftvnews.com) Amazon Fire TV Cube has been announced with pre-orders set for June 21, 2018. The newest member of the Fire TV lineup is the first to introduce built-in hands-free Amazon Alexa making it act like an Echo device. This will allow you to control your devices hands-free. Some of those devices will include soundbars, tv, satellite box and more. The built-in speaker will allow you to make Alexa inquiries without the need to have your television on. There have been a few improvements over the last few generations with the introduction of 4K UHD at 60fps and Adobe Atmos compatibility. Another noteworthy mention is that the storage has been bumped from 8GB to 16GB (finally!). While this device is not necessarily any faster/better in terms of gaming, Amazon has been pushing the streaming capabilities with the 4K mentions above which are superior to the older models. If you have been looking for a new Fire TV, check out this link to pre-order it today! The price is set at $119.99. I will make sure to have tutorials featuring Kodi as soon as I get mine.
NOTE: Amazon is currently running a promotion where you can save $30 if you have Amazon Prime. You can sign up for a free trial and cancel it at a later time.
