Install Kodi on macOS

This tutorial will show you how to install Kodi on any version of macOS.


Step 1 – Head over to http://kodi.tv/download and select MacOS

Step 2 – Select Installer (64bit) next to Release

Step 3 – Double-click the downloaded DMG file and Drag Kodi to the Applications folder

Step 4 – After the file has completed copying, open a Finder window and select Applications

Step 5 – Locate Kodi and right-click on it, then select Open

Step 6 – If you get a warning like the one below, click Open again

You are done! Kodi should open and you can proceed to install the add-ons you want. Your screen may differ from the one below depending on which Skin you have installed.

Steps 4-6 only need to be done the first time you install Kodi. From that point onward, you can run Kodi from Launchpad or the Dock.
